The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Srinagar-based 15 Corps, Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, said on Tuesday that while the situation is “generally good” in the Kashmir Valley, there is still some distance to cover.

He was speaking to reporters during the inauguration of the General Bipin Rawat Stadium in norther Kashmir’s Baramulla district. “The security situation in Kashmir is good, but there is still some distance needed to cover to achieve complete peace,” he said.
