A leopard was found dead on Thursday after being hit by a bus at Kallati near here.

Passengers of the bus which hit the big cat on Tuesday heard a bang and saw it running into the jungle off Masangudi-Kallati road which falls under Mudumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Forest department sources said.
