Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Friday launched ‘MahaStride’, a new initiative aimed at making Maharashtra a Rs 35 trillion economy in the next five years.
The launch was held at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Mihan in Nagpur district of Maharashtra, in the presence of top officials and representatives from the World Bank, an official statement said on Saturday.
Speaking at the event, CM Fadnavis said that the state’s newly-formed institution MITRA (Maharashtra Institution for Transformation) will play a key role in guiding this transformation.
