In the wake of severe flooding caused by torrential rains from September 21 to 23, several villages in Solapur District, particularly in Madha Taluka, were left inundated and in urgent need of assistance.

Responding to a call from the NDRF and local administration, a team from the RESQ Charitable Trust-Sahyadri Vanyajeev Rakshanarth Samajik Sanstha (SVRSS), working in close coordination with the Indian Army, the tehsildar, and the local MLA, launched large-scale rescue operations to safeguard human lives and animals stranded by the floodwaters.
