Maharashtra rains: Schools closed on Saturday in Nanded, Latur

Authorities in Maharashtra’s Nanded and Latur have declared a holiday for all educational institutions on Saturday after an 'orange' alert was issued for heavy rains, news agency PTI reported, quoting an official.

The orders were issued by Nanded Collector Rahul Kardile and Latur Collector Varsha Thakur-Ghuge, he added.
