A day after four sadhus were thrashed by a mob on suspicion of being child-lifters in Maharashtra's Sangli district, police on Wednesday registered a case and arrested seven persons.

The victims of the incident had not registered any police complaint over the incident which took place near Lawanga village in Jat tehsil on Tuesday.
