PM Modi recently, through a social media post, highlighted that he will be visiting the Maldives on July 25, 2025. The much-anticipated trip of Prime Minister Modi to the Maldives comes after President Mohamed Muizzu invited him on the occasion of the 60th Independence Day celebrations of the Maldives. PM Modi’s visit to the island nation is highly symbolic, as 2025 also marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between India and the Maldives.
