Chennai: An employee of a private company was arrested on Thursday by Cyber Crime wing of police in Chennai for allegedly circulating obscene pictures of a girl child in a WhatsApp group comprising his colleagues, police said.

Based on the complaints from two members, including a woman, of the group, Cyber Crime Cell sleuths of Crime Branch CID nabbed the accused and seized the phone used for taking the obscene photographs of the child and circulating it, a police release said.
