The court awarded the jail term to 33-year-old Sunil Kumar for raping the minor and imposed a fine of Rs 7,000 on him. "Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the seriousness of the offence, the convict is sentenced to rigorous imprisonment for ten years under Section 376 (rape) of the IPC," Additional Sessions Judge Rajneesh Kumar Gupta said.
