A man was brutally murdered last night on a busy road around 10.30 pm at Chamarajpet police station limits.

Fayaz Pasha (45), who was accompanied by his relative Mohammed Suhail Ahmed (20), was waiting for an autorickshaw when he was stabbed at Briand Square, just 100 metres away from the Central Crime Branch on Mysore road junction.

Pasha, a resident of Guddadahalli on Mysore Road, worked in a cotton factory (fibre opening unit) at Cottonpet, was on his way home with Ahmed.

Stabbed

"While we were waiting for an autorickshaw, two unidentified youth aged between 22 and 25 years came up to us.

Pasha was stabbed by two unidentified youth. His nephew Suhail fled the scene and returned only to find him dead.
