26-yr-old "mentally challenged" man tied to pole, lynched to death in Delhi

26-year-old Isar was allegedly lynched to death in northeast Delhi late Tuesday evening

In a shocking incident, a 26-year-old man was allegedly lynched to death in the national capital city, Delhi, over the suspicion of being a thief. The incident occurred at Nand Nagri in North East Delhi. The slain was identified as Isar, a mentally challenged man, who succumbed to injuries at his home, ANI reported.

Deputy Commissioner of Police North East Delhi Joy Tirkey said, "Police got a PCR call at 10.45 pm on Tuesday. When we reached the spot, the dead body of Isar was kept outside the house at E-57 Nand Nagri. There were light injury marks on the head. We came to know that he was assaulted in the morning."
