Mizoram: 10 people dead, many missing as stone quarry collapses in Aizawl

The incident took place in the vicinity of Melthum and Hlimen, on the southern edge of the town of Aizawl, at approximately six in the morning. The police officials said that 10 bodies have been found, while numerous others are still buried beneath the rubble due to a landslide.

On Tuesday morning a stone quarry collapsed due to constant rains in Mizoram`s Aizawl, leaving ten people dead and multiple more missing as told by DGP Anil Shukla to PTI.
According to the PTI report, the police added that the incident took place in the vicinity of Melthum and Hlimen, on the southern edge of the town of Aizawl, at approximately six in the morning. The police officials said that 10 bodies have been found, while numerous others are still buried beneath the rubble due to a landslide.
