The people of Gujarat will vote in a BJP government for a third consecutive term, Chief Minister Narendra Modi said confidently as the second and final phase of assembly elections were held yesterday.
Elections in the second phase were held in 95 of the 182 constituencies. “Going to cast my vote for Gujarat Elections 2012. Let’s vote and break our own record of the 1st phase!” Modi tweeted before he went to cast his vote.
Modi exercised his franchise at the Nishan High School in the Ranip area of northern Ahmedabad amid much fanfare, flashing a victory sign.
