Air India on Friday announced that it has started using two advanced digital tools -- SITA OptiFlight and SITA eWAS -- to improve fuel efficiency and reduce carbon emissions across its fleet.
SITA OptiFlight, especially its OptiClimb module, gives pilots data-driven climb-out schedules that help reduce fuel use during take-off, one of the most fuel-intensive parts of a flight.
