Nafisa Joseph (25) was found hanging from the ceiling fan of her Versova flat, a month before her marriage to Gautam Kanduja. She was reportedly in depression.

Status now: In 2005, the Bombay HC stayed the case in which Gautam was accused of abetment to suicide.

A video of actor Ashmit Patel having sex with a woman resembling Riya Sen, whom he was dating, was released in 2005. The clip showed the two in various explicit positions. Both actors denied it was them in the clip.
