Union Minister of Electronics and Technology, Rajeev Chandrashekhar on Friday took cognizance of Google`s AI`s response on PM Narendra Modi, citing that it is direct violation of Information Technology rules and well as several provisions of the criminal code. The issue was brought to the notice of the minister by a journalist`s verified X handle alleging bias in Google AI- Gemini`s in response to a question on PM Modi, while it gave no clear answer when a similar question was asked for Trump and Zelenskyy.

The journalist said, "This Gemini AI from google is not just woke, it`s downright malicious. The GOI should take note", he said on X tagging a post by an author- another verified account.
