The Central Crime Branch police have busted a racket involved in the sale of adulterated petrol and kerosene. Seven persons have been arrested in this connection.u00a0

Police had received complaints about a gang that was converting blue kerosene to be supplied to the public through PDS into white kerosene. They were also selling adulterated petrol to the public.

Gopal B Hosur, Joint Commissioner of Police, Crime, and Shri SN Sidramappa, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime, Bangalore City constituted a special squad consisting of the officers and staff of Organized Crime Wing, Central Crime Branch, Bangalore City.u00a0

The squad conducted raid on E S N. Enterprises (Dealers in Chemicals and Solvent) at Lake View Layout in Haralur village.
