Railways cuts prices of packaged drinking water at stations; revised rates here

The new pricing structure revises the cost from Rs 15 to Rs 14 per bottle of one litre of water and from Rs 10 to Rs 9 for a 500-ml bottle. These revised prices apply to water sold at railway premises and trains by the Indian Railways

The Ministry of Railways has announced a revision in the maximum retail price (MRP) of packaged drinking water bottles under the brand `Rail Neer`. The Railway Board’s decision will come into effect from September 22.

The new pricing structure revises the cost from Rs 15 to Rs 14 per bottle of one litre of water and from Rs 10 to Rs 9 for a 500-ml bottle. This revised prices apply to water sold at railway premises and trains by the Indian Railways.
