Defence Minister Rajnath Singh initiated the discussion on Operation Sindoor in Lok Sabha, calling it a historic and decisive strike against terrorism. He praised the Indian armed forces for precision attacks on nine Pakistan-based terror camps post the Pahalgam attack, killing over 100 terrorists linked to JeM, LeT, and Hizbul Mujahideen.

After a chaotic last week in the Parliament, the monsoon session finally resumed at 1:00 pm on Monday. In the second week of the monsoon session, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh initiated the long-awaited discussion on Operation Sindoor on the floor of the lower house of Parliament.
Starting the discussion on ‘Operation Sindoor,’ the Defence Minister of India, Rajnath Singh, started by hailing the armed forces of India for successfully launching an attack on the Pakistan-based terror group camps. While labelling the military operation that was launched by the Indian armed forces as "historic," Singh paid tribute to each and every soldier who always remains ready to sacrifice their lives for the nation.
Singh, while addressing the lower house of the Parliament, stated that "The Parliament is ready to discuss Operation Sindoor. First of all, I would like to extend my gratitude on behalf of the Parliament towards brave jawans who have sacrificed for the country whenever required," as cited by ANI.
