Parliament Monsoon Session: Rajya Sabha bids farewell to 6 retiring members

Rajya Sabha bid farewell to six retiring MPs from Tamil Nadu, including Vaiko, Anbumani Ramadoss, and P. Wilson, whose term ended on Thursday. Members across parties praised their contributions to public service and democratic values. P. Wilson has been re-elected, and preparations for the upcoming Vice Presidential election are underway.

Rajya Sabha on the 4th day of the Parliament Monsoon Session bids farewell to six members from Tamil Nadu who are completing their terms on Thursday. Rajya Sabha MPs across parties appreciated their contribution towards strengthening democratic traditions in the country.

As reported by PTI, out of the six retiring members of the Rajya Sabha, one of the retiring members, P. Wilson of DMK, has been re-elected to the Rajya Sabha.

The terms of M Mohamed Abdulla (DMK), N Chandrasegharan (AIADMK), Anbumani Ramadoss (PMK), M Shanmugam (DMK), Vaiko (MDMK), and P Wilson (DMK) are set to end on Thursday.
