Crime Branch officials said 33 persons, including six women, suspected of pick-pocketing and chain-snatching were taken into custody yesterday. The police recovered a gold chain from a 20-year-old youth. Eight gold rings were also seized from others.<br /><br />Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime) Anant Shinde said, "Three men were arrested on Sunday for chain-snatching. Theu00a0 suspects were active in Vishrantwadi and Yerawada, even as the palkhi procession was going on."
