The flood situation across Punjab continues to remain alarming. On Tuesday, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi conducted an aerial survey of the flood-ravaged areas in the state, which is battling its worst deluge since 1988, news agency PTI reported.
The PM also conducted a daylong visit to Himachal Pradesh to review the flood situation.
As per officials, PM Modi will also be holding discussions with senior officials and chair a review meeting on the ground situation in Punjab’s Gurdaspur. He will also be interacting with the flood-affected people as well as the NDRF, SDRF and Aapda Mitra Team in the city, reported PTI.
