Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a telephonic conversation with Nepal’s interim PM Sushila Karki after recent Gen-Z protests shook the country. Modi extended condolences for lives lost and assured India’s support in restoring peace, stability, and progress.

With Nepal experiencing heavy protest in the last few days because of the intense Gen-Z protest, the situation now seems to be under control. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday held a telephonic conversation with Nepal's Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki.
An official statement by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) addressed that PM Modi, while talking to Nepal's interim prime minister, extended his condolences for the loss of lives during the protests in Nepal. He further assured India's readiness in working towards strengthening special ties between the two countries and India's full support to Nepal in its efforts towards restoring peace and stability and for the progress of the people of Nepal, as reported by news agency ANI.
