PM Narendra Modi to pay respects to Basaveshwara statue during his visit to UK

The event will be organized by The Basaveshwara Foundation, a non-profit organization based in the UK that has installed the statue of Basaveshwara on the bank of river Thames

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on the state visit to the UK this week, will be paying tribute to the 12th-century Lingayat philosopher and social reformer Basaveshwara at his statue which is at the banks of the river Thames.
