A Chhattisgarh Police team found a 25 kg bomb by the roadside in a forested area in Raipur district. Police say Maoists had placed the bomb to target the police patrol.
The bomb was categorised as a `tiffin bomb', and was found on a road in a jungle pocket in Raipur district, about 150 km from capital Raipur. Police blamed Maoists guerrillas who are active in the area for placing the bomb in order to target policemen.
