President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation on Thursday, on the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day.

The address will be broadcast at 7:00 p.m. across Akashvani’s national network and telecast on all Doordarshan channels, starting with the Hindi version followed by the English version.

The telecast on Doordarshan will be followed by regional language broadcasts on respective regional channels. Akashvani will air the regional language versions at 9:30 p.m. on its corresponding regional networks.
