Police conducted an extensive search at a private international school in Pune on Wednesday after the institution received an email claiming that a bomb had been planted on the premises, news agency PTI reported, quoting officers. The entire school was evacuated as a precaution, and no suspicious object has been found so far.

According to an officer from the Pimpri Chinchwad Police Station, the school received the email around midnight on Tuesday. The threat was noticed by the authorities on Wednesday morning, following which the police were alerted.
