The police are now treading cautiously while investigating the suicide case of Pune-based hotelier and businessman, Ajay Chordia (in pic). With the case throwing up prominent names, the cops want to avoid any controversy, and have now begun recording the Chordia family’s statements on camera.

More than a week has passed since Chordia, the group chairman of Panchshil Hotels, was found hanging on the 11th floor of the hotel DoubleTree by Hilton on October 27. While Chordia himself hails from a prominent business family with strong political connections as well, another big name came to be associated with the suicide case when cops discovered Chordia’s suicide note.
