Primary investigations into the murder of Shiv Sena leader Raju Darshile (45), in Punawale on Saturday night, have revealed that it was the fallout of a land dispute. Police have zeroed in on the suspects with the help of CCTV footage obtained from the spot, and are confident they will nab them soon.

Raju Darshile was in his office at Punawale when the attackers shot him dead
Darshile was shot dead by three unknown men on Saturday around 9 pm at his construction site office on the Punawale-Jambhe road. The suspects had arrived on a two-wheeler and entered his office on the pretext of asking for drinking water.
Darshile was in his office with two of his employees. When one of the employees went inside to bring water and glasses, the suspects opened fire at Darshile. Three bullets hit his head while one hit his stomach. The attackers fled the spot immediately. Darshile was taken to a hospital, but was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
