Kharghar gurdwara flags off first relief convoy of Rs 1 crore for Punjab floods

A team will be on the ground in Dera Baba Nanak, one of the worst flood-affected areas in Punjab, on October 1 and 2, to begin distribution. In the first phase, 500 flood-affected families will receive specially curated household relief kits

The first batch of flood relief materials worth Rs 1 core were flagged off the Gurdwara Kharghar in Navi Mumbai on Thursday to Punjab.  

The departure ceremony began with an 'Ardas (prayer),' invoking divine blessings for the success of this vital humanitarian effort.
