On May 24, the Delhi police had recovered 24 live cartridges and two blank magazines from Room No. 448 of the Radisson. "They were let off in Pune itself." Stealth operation The Italians and the Indians had been picked up in the dead of the night after information had been conveyed by the Delhi police. A Delhi police team first arrived in Mumbai ato take custody of Giulio Ponetto. The same day they flew him and the two detained Italians, Giovanni Ceccomello, Donato Dngello, to Delhi.
