A fresh case against former Haryana police chief S.P.S. Rathore was registered here Tuesday, charging him with abetting the suicide of teenager Ruchika Girhotra three years after he had molested her.

The first information report (FIR) has been registered against the former director general of police, Panchkula superintendent of police Maneesh Chaudhary said here.
