Eight killed people have died while at least 15 have been injured in a car explosion near Red Fort Metro Station at Delhi. Multiple vehicles have caught fire and a high alert has been sounded across the national capital following the incident. PM Modi and Amit Shah have taken stock of the situation. Explosives go off in a car near Red Fort Metro Station: An explosion took place in a slow-moving vehicle near the Red Fort traffic signal around 6.52 pm on Monday. According to the Delhi Police passengers were present in the car.
Fire breaks out after explosion: The blast triggered a fire that severely damaged several vehicles nearby.
