One no longer needs to wander across libraries in town in pursuit of a book, as Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has launched an e-library service portal.
The corporation inaugurated the website portal on Saturday, making 6,000 e-books, in Marathi, Hindi and English, available to the public. The service was inaugurated by Sharad Pawar, union minister for agriculture. Within the next few months, they aim to stock 55,000 e-books.
