A CID probe has begun into the mysterious death of Dum Dum GRP sub-inspector Arindam Manna, the investigating officer in the Rizwanur Rahman death case, whose body was found lying beside the railway tracks yesterday.

A state CID officer said teams from the homicide department had been sent to the spot near Mankundu railway station in Hooghly district to investigate the unnatural death of Manna.
