The Supreme Court on Monday quashed the Kerala government notification that refused sales tax exemption of around Rs 70 crore to Pepsico India Holding Private Ltd.

A Bench headed by Justice SB Sinha, while pronouncing the order, also imposed a cost of Rs one lakh on the company for its 'conduct' during the hearing of the petition.
