Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) Member of Parliament (MP) Priyanka Chaturvedi on Friday called for urgent government intervention over the growing misuse of artificial intelligence (AI) applications, particularly on Elon Musk-owned social media platform X, to sexualise women, news agency IANS reported.

In a letter to Union Information Technology (IT) Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Chaturvedi sought the introduction of strict “guardrails” for AI chatbots such as Grok to ensure social media platforms remain a safe space for women. She also stressed the need for better education of men from an early age to prevent such behaviour.
