Police stopped Swami Avimukteshwarananda at Sri Vidya Math on Saturday while he was leaving to offer prayers at the 'Shivling' in Gyanvapi Mosque in Varanasi.
Reportedly, the Hindu saint had declared to offer prayers at the 'Shivling' for June 4 in Gyanvapi.
