Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 21st instalment of the PM-KISAN income support scheme. The scheme, which amounted to Rs 18,000 crore, will help over nine crore farmers. PM Modi on Wednesday was at Coimbatore, where he made the announcement. 

As reported by news agency IANS, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate the South India Organic Farming Conference being organised by the Tamil Nadu Organic Farmers’ Federation at the CODISSIA campus.
