Taxpayers urge I-T department to extend ITR due date as portal throws glitches

The due date for filing the return for AY21-22 is December 31. The Centre had extended the ITR filing due date to December 31 from July 31 earlier in the year

With just three days left to file the Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2020-21, many taxpayers on Tuesday complained of technical problems with the ITR portal.
The due date for filing the return for AY21-22 is December 31. The Centre had extended the ITR filing due date to December 31 from July 31 earlier in the year.
