The accused broke into the Bachchan bungalow and managed to steal money before being caught
He was able to swipe just Rs 8,000, but managed to give some anxious moments to Bollywood’s first family. Early in the morning on July 20, Dilip Kevat scaled the wall of Jalsa — the bungalow of Amitabh Bachchan — overcame the nets placed to stop intruders, and got into the house with the intention of robbery. While he was sifting through the belongings, he was spotted by one of the family members, who raised an alarm and called security. The guards soon caught the person and later handed him over to Juhu police.

Unsafe? The robber scaled the rear wall of the Jalsa and jumped onto the balcony. While he was sifting through the belongings, he was spotted by one of the family members, who raised an alarm and called security. File pics
