On the eve of Teacher's Day, thousands of contractual teachers from Patna, Bihar descended on the streets with their demand of 'equal work, equal pay' and also raised slogans against the Nitish Kumar government. According to news agency IANS, contractual teachers from across the state arrived at Patna's Gardanibagh area and launched their protest under the banner of TET, STET passed Teachers' Association.
On #TeachersDay, thousands of contractual teachers descended on the streets with their demand of 'equal work, equal pay' and raising slogans against the #NitishKumar government on September 5.
