The story behind this shop goes back to 1939 when BG Chitale set up a successful dairy business in Sangli. His eldest son Raghunathrao Chitale decided to expand the brand to Pune in 1959 and set up a shop at Bajirao Road. Today, they have 13 outlets at various parts of the city.u00a0u00a0
What they offer: The Diwali specials include Chakli, Amba Kaju Roll, Kesar Katli, Anarsa, Shankar Pali and fancy sweets shaped like fruits, such as apples, strawberry and orange. Their most popular item is their Mix Mithai box, that includes 11 types of sweets. They also have Pedas available in 11 flavours.
