Delhi Police has issued traffic advisories for key roads, anticipating heavy movement due to dignitaries and officials. The new address for key ministries, the state-of-the-art Kartavya Bhavan, is set to be inaugurated on Wednesday by Prime Minister Modi. However, while enhancing the ministerial infrastructure of the country, the traffic of New Delhi will observe major disruptions on Wednesday.
As reported by news agency PTI, traffic restrictions will be in place across parts of New Delhi as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the new Kartavya Bhavan at 6.30 pm, police said.
News agency PTI has also reported that the event coincides with peak office hours when heavy traffic is expected in the area due to the movement of dignitaries, government officials and invitees, the traffic police official added.
