As per the Hindu tradition, ‘Tulsi Vivaah’ is celebrated in reverence of the holy Tulsi (Basil) plant. ‘Tulsi Vivaah’ commemorates the wedding of Goddess Tulsi with God Shaligram. While Tulsi is believed to be the incarnation of Goddess Mahalakshmi, Shaligram is considered to be Lord Vishnu’s form.
