Two armymen, six ultras killed in J&K

Two army personnel, including a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO), and six militants of whom two were of Jaish-e-Mohammad, were killed in two separate gun battles in Poonch and Baramulla districts of Jammu and Kashmir, a police spokesman said on Saturday.

JCO Rakesh Kumar and Naik PK Singh besides four militants were killed in a fierce gun battle between security forces and militants in the forest area of Bhatidhar in Mendhar sector of Poonch, the spokesman said.
