Moreshwar Sathe was killed after his arrest in Tuesday's farmer agitation, said Shiv Sena leader Uddhav Thackeray yesterday. He demanded IPC Section 302 (murder) be slapped on the police. A 45-year-old tanker driver from Shivne village, Sathe was photographed by the local print media when the police arrested him.

"If the newspaper picture shows Sathe alive with the police holding his hand to take him in custody, then how did he get killed?" said Thackeray.
