Madurai: DMK Leader M K Stalin today stressed the need for unity among the opposition political parties and party cadres in Tamil Nadu to bring down the "non functioning" AIADMK government.

"Unity among political parties and party cadres is necessary to bring down the non-functioning AIADMK government, which has not kept any of its assurances, including making Tamil Nadu a power surplus state.
