<p>Protests erupted after a student died in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/atiq-ahmad-killing-internet-services-resume-in-prayagraj-23281600" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Prayagraj</a>, police said on Tuesday.</p>
<p>According to Kheri police, a scuffle broke out between a group of students at Parmanand Smarak Inter College in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/news/india-news/article/two-die-after-falling-off-moving-train-in-uttar-pradesh-23281791" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Uttar Pradesh</a>'s Prayagraj.&nbsp;</p>
<p>"A clash erupted between a group of students on an issue, which was brought to rest by the teachers. But after school hours, the clash began again and lead to the death of one student", said the police official.</p>
<p>Protests erupted in the area after the incident.</p>
<p>The police official further said, "Protests occurring have been brought to an end. Peace and harmony is being maintained in the area."</p>
<p>A complaint was filed by the deceased's family members and a case has been registered.</p>
<p>Three have been arrested, according to the police official.</p>
<p>Further investigation is underway.</p><p>
