The situation in Uttarakhand is alarming at the moment, with continuous rainfall in the state making things difficult; road transport has also been hit pretty badly.  Heavy rainfall in the last few days has forced the authorities to block the National Highway near Nandprayag and Bhaneropani.

In a post on the social media platform X, Chamoli Police Uttarakhand stated that "The Badrinath National Highway is blocked near Nandprayag and Bhanerpani. Work is underway to open the road."
